The cottages offered a beautiful view and were clean and well-appointed. The owner was friendly and gave great recommendations for local eateries. The location was convenient for exploring the surrounding area and was centrally located, making it easy to access different attractions. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the cottage and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
There were a few downsides to our stay. The highway noise was constant and quite loud, which could be bothersome, especially if you prefer a quieter environment.

My recent stay at McIntyre's Cottages was absolutely perfect. We had the pleasure of staying for several nights while we embarked on our adventure of driving the Cabot Trail. The location of the cottages was ideal, allowing us easy access to both sides of the coast of Cape Breton Island. During our stay, we were greeted by friendly staff who made check-in and check-out a breeze. The picturesque views from our cottage overlooking Baddeck Inlet were simply breathtaking. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were kept immaculately clean. Additionally, the cottage had all the amenities we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. I couldn't have asked for a more suitable and enjoyable place to stay.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at Mcintyre's Cottages for a few days with my friends while we went snowmobiling. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and efficient during check-in. The highlight was the breathtaking view of Bras D'or lake from the cottage's hilltop location. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog, and the staff provided sheets to cover the couch. The location was convenient, close to the Cabot Trail and the town of Baddeck. It was a great place to relax after a day of exploring.

Great location for exploring the area, especially the nearby Cabot Trail. The view from the cottage was breathtaking, overlooking a beautiful lake. The cottage itself was clean and cozy, providing a comfortable stay.
The cottage was a duplex, so we could hear noise from the neighboring unit, which was a bit disruptive. The kitchen facilities were on the smaller side, making it difficult to cook for a larger group.

the location was perfect for exploring the trails, and the cottage itself was clean and spacious. I loved having two separate bedrooms instead of a crowded hotel room. the owner and staff were friendly and helpful, and even gave us tips for a scenic route home. Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning was so peaceful. I will definitely book at McIntyre's Cottages again on my next visit to Cape Breton. Cons: Nothing, all was good! 😃.
